photoblog image The Widow

The Widow

This is the result of me playing in CS2. I wanted to created a dramatic and artistic effect. Through my eyes I got what I wished for. Can't even remember what kind of filter i used because I've tried so many of them. This portret of a widow in mourning comes out of the creative mind of Roxanne.

I tried B&W but that was to regular and in color she is breathtaking (that we already know!).
A good friend noticed that there is a chance that in this case the SC community might  want to see the  original version....... :)

Enjoy!

Like the creative nature of this shot, yup definitely a gem in B&W, very very good work here Fausto. Impressed
Fausto Fraser: Thanks Suby! i am glad you liked it. Didn't expect that it would make an impression but once a again...thanks!! I've read somewhere that B&W photography remains one of the most popular renderings for images so i am going through my collection to experiment smile
wow. very well done! It evokes the gloomy feeling that you're trying to express smile
Fausto Fraser: Thanks for the compliment! I am in the process of learning how to present even more jawdropping dramatic expressions smile
Very interesting portrait Fausto - the CS interpretation works well. Mike
Fausto Fraser: CS is the magic tool for B&W conversions as i have discovered by reading a great deal on post processing. No back to experimenting the knobs, buttons and sliders smile. Thank you very much for the compliment.

Fausto Fraser: Thanks bro! Needles to say that i have to thank you once again for the oppertunity and let's not forget Rox's creativity. This week the sherry on top?

Tiltle best fits the image. Love the expression on her face!
Fausto Fraser: Without any question the title seemed more than logic. A grieving woman in black...and the tears. Roxanne could easily be a theatrical actrice! She is expressive! Thanks for the compliment!
great sensual portrait...
Fausto Fraser: Thanks for the compliments!
