My obsession of the light game the sun plays around my house is getting bigger and bigger... For weeks I've waited for the right moment to capture a model under these circumstances. I never planned to post my artistic nudes on shutterchance but for this one (with approval of the model) I just couldn't resist…. We had several shots and this was one of her most favorites. It was also my first time my t-shirt plus my jeans were soaking wet of the sweat…it was darn hot and I had to work fast before I started to lose the light.
The model is gorgeous no doubt…the light is fantastic (in my opinion)…but I just have this feeling something's missing.

Keep the obsession Going Bro,
beautiful model, beautiful light, what would a photographer ask for more, well maybe the opportunity to do it again and again. Seeing it full size for the first time, my comment would be I would like to see a bit more definition in the shadowy part where the hand is, in my opinion the bright window on the left adds to the balance of the image.
Fausto Fraser: Shooting at f/2,8 I didn't expect a completely sharp image but your right...it would be nice to have more detail at certain parts of the image. Thanks for the comment master!
I'm not sure I can help you out with anything technical, Fausto, but IMHO you have achieved a doubly "warm" image. Bravo.
Fausto Fraser: Thank you Ginnie
Excellent lighting, I like the pose too.
Fausto Fraser: The sun is shining for free!!! Thanks for visiting and for commenting Nigel.
looking for more stuff bro!!
Fausto Fraser: Comin soon!!!
Hi Fausto, glad to find your photos thanks to Patrick Krolis!!
It´s a great shot, but the strong light at left back disturbs me just a little. Anyway, a great pic.....
Fausto Fraser: At first I thought about lowering the exposure on that part of the picture but at the last moment I decided to leave it like it is...no PP whatsoever...Thanks for the comment!
Speacheless Fausto! realy I am.
the details brought out with shadows & lights are beautiful
Fausto Fraser: Thanks for the compliment and visit Earvin. She was speechless too...
Sorry I missed this first time around, the light is perfect but Patrick is right about the detail. I think this would have made, make a wonderful ad for film or gallery show. Well done on the patience.

Fausto Fraser: No prob dude. Yeah..i needed to spend more time on that detail but the sun didn't wait for me
Normally I am not thrilled by nude on SC, but for this one time I have changed my mind, you have made this in a very nice picture, love the lighting, I love the atmosphere.
Fausto Fraser: I never planned to post my artistic nudes on SC..althans...not jet. But this was special. The model was speechless and I even more so I knew I needed to post it. It was like I was a hunter waiting for his prey..and I hunted this sunlight for weeks. It paid off
Excellent and I have nothing to add.
Fausto Fraser: Thanks Louis!!
not sure what you feel is missing - I see beautiful shape and for with great toned light. mal
Fausto Fraser: Every time I look at this shot I too wonder what I was thinking
I like the bright color of the light in the corner and the contrasting dark in the opposite corner.
Fausto Fraser: That's also on of the reasons I love this shot. Glad you like it!
Hey Nefo!
Very tasteful shot. I love the light and the emotion here. Good job!!
Fausto Fraser: Hoe zeg ik nicht in t sranangtongo? hahahaha...Well...blooood... thank you thank you thank you..!!!
Very interesting. Love the colors.
Fausto Fraser: Thanks for the comment and visit!
Where you been hiding yourself.
Love love this capture and the feel of it
Fausto Fraser: Busy busy busy...still trying to find out what what I will specifically be shooting the most. Still have the urge to shoot anything and everything but one thing is for sure..I love colors and I love B&W conversions. Go check my latest...Thanks for the comment n stopping by!
I flipped through your short archive. I think this one is the best one you've posted so far.

Fausto Fraser: I agree....I totally agree...I absolutely agree...
Fausto, you wicked wicked man, kidnapping the model for days and weeks on end until the right lighting conditions appeared
Had to come back and comment
Fausto Fraser: Hahahaha....I had this in mind for weeks yeah...so I was calling her almost every day I thought the afternoon sun was going to be so beautiful. We did shoot till the last ray of sunlight..I think she kidnapped me if you asked me...
Very nice work on lights and beautiful result !
Fausto Fraser: I'd thank the sun and the patience and enthusiasm of the model. Thanks for the comment!
Not really my speciallity so difficult to provide constructive criticism. Only suggestion I could make it that it might be a stronger shot if you had used a reflecter to bounce some light into the model's body. Crop on the head is good, head in silhouette is good. Yellow is beautiful ;o)
Fausto Fraser: I guess I was in a too great a hurry to think about a reflector at that time. Ow...i need to get me one a those...
ps. Got a nice B&W post today. Like to hear your thoughts on that one too...
AHuh..a san mooi, man!
Good Job, Fausto!
Fausto Fraser: Thanks Kavita. She is mooi..the sun is..mooi...the connection between me and her is....mooi...The whole setting was...mooi. Thank u!
En jij blijft maar beter en beter worden. Ik benne benieuwd naar jou volgende werken.
I believe that there are profiteer a great moment to make a great photo. You have had luck, also to have a pretty model. Thanks to share, also, your naked ones with us. It is a pleasure!
Fausto Fraser: Your are welcome! Maybe in the near future I will have more guts to post the nudes but I'm just not really ready I think. This model is great to work with and I hope to have a chance to let SC see more of her. Thanks for the comment!
just wanted to say I love this, not alot needed to make it better, it'd quickly lose much of it's appeal if you get technical. I would love to see more of your nudes if this is your style
Fausto Fraser: The thing I love about artistic nudes is to make sure that the person you photograph reacts with such an enthusiasm it makes you blush. I guess you can say this is my style..working with available light and a willing model
