This was probably my most productive artistic nude session ever. My model was very creative and this made this shoot the most pleasant one. Out of the 200 clicks I made a selection of 10. Hi Folks! I took part in the 2nd Scott Kelby's Photowalk in Paramaribo last Saturday organised by fellow Shutterchancer Debby Tjong A Hung. I had an extremely fun day with my girlfriend and my colleagues. The weather was good, the participants had a great sense of humor and I had a blast using a point and shoot compact camera. The limitations I had forced me to think more out of the box although I think every good photographer should have that all the time. Confidence I have

No need to explain...I think... but still..... A longtime good friend's visit, resulting in the pleasing of the eagerness of a woman to see herself like she never could possible see herself, anatomically. After seeing this the first time her reaction was overwhelming and she couldn't wait for her husband to see what he sees every day..... Her second reaction was even more overwhelming. " I didn't now my behind looked so pretty....now I am content....now I can explain...the stare....the smile.....the love.....I am confident....more than ever...!!" Why I am in love with this shot? The shadows....the color.....the warmth...the simulated effect of the rays of the undergoing sun and the warm feeling of a reaction not foreseen.

Five O Twins

Being an event photographer has it advantages. Being caught in the act not. These two agents just showed their cold side. You are either with us or against us... I had no choice but to surrender to the will of these two dark angels of death. Guns at point blank ...shoot us or get shot. So I did n't hesitate and aimed the 17-55mm and pushed the button. The whole night I was forced to shoot against my will. Constantly being threatened...these two beauties got what they wanted. I shot the hell out of them and came out of this horror alive. I never want to experience this hostile treatment again....really... believe me... This is one of my personal favorites and I wont mind any form of critic.....Enjoy!

Dear SC community, This shot was inspired by a guessing game on of our beloved SC members played with us by way of a picture a while ago. Click here to see what I mean. Right now I can't really describe how and when I made this shot because I can't come up with a description without revealing or giving a clue what this object might be. One thing must be said, Ginnie...on Monday the 30th of June you were strongly on my mind while I was walking my feet off at a certain recreational establishment here in Suriname. Happy guessing folks!!! I can't wait to see who will guess it right... My apologies for my absence these few months. I have missed a lot I see and I will make it up soon!

Thirst....a need...a want...

This post is inspired by someone who makes me think...makes me go deeper into myself...I needed that for so long... and finaly...I can say....for this year..I've met this person. Me and some buddies went on a trip to the inlands of Suriname. On our way to some waterfalls I just couldn't keep my fingers from the camera. Being thirsty and all the driver just crabbed my attention...the way the water looked...the way it dissappeared in his goro-goro (throath) ...the "Gloek gloek gloek" sound, the color of the bottle...the blurry background...(yes...my eyes "aprture" was wide open). Of course I needed to capture this so I did...because of all of the above reasons. But..... The thoughts I had about this picture when I review it after the upload were about the wars of the past, the present and the future. What will it be next? No oil...no ...take a wild guess...... Nature meets Nature - Feel the warmth -

My obsession of the light game the sun plays around my house is getting bigger and bigger... For weeks I've waited for the right moment to capture a model under these circumstances. I never planned to post my artistic nudes on shutterchance but for this one (with approval of the model) I just couldn't resist. We had several shots and this was one of her most favorites. It was also my first time my t-shirt plus my jeans were soaking wet of the sweatit was darn hot and I had to work fast before I started to lose the light. What I really would like is some comments on the technical part of this shot. What I could do to get these kinds of shots better and what could've been better in this one. The model is gorgeous no doubtthe light is fantastic (in my opinion)but I just have this feeling something's missing. My obsession continues.
